The table, chairs and bench are beautiful and perfect in the space. We are truly pleased and admire them daily. I think A. got tired of just looking and encouraged me one night- “Come on, Mom! Let’s break this new table in!” We’ve been using it since for eating, homework and all sorts of other things. Please thank everyone there for us.

This is so interesting. I was thinking that I should email you and say thanks to you and your team for getting us our beautiful chairs. They are beautiful and we love them. They take away a little of the sting of losing all the dining room furniture and will allow us to start a brand new set of memories once the house is livable. Things continue to progress, but it's still not complete. Now we're just hoping for June.

We just got back from our annual ski trip to Switzerland and got to visit the stool we had you make for our friends. They still use it every day and it has mellowed to a beautiful color. It made us smile and think of you guys.

We went to your studio this afternoon and were greeted by Will and Autumn. They were courteous, knowledgeable, professional and very helpful. We had questions about bar stools and also needed to have a 1998 vintage rocking chair repaired. Everything was addressed quickly and completely. We were impressed.

Gary, we are very pleased with the new chair and footstool...My artistic wife said, “tell him the chair is beautiful..., a work of sculpture in wood”. And we are using the footstool with a $3000 Eames lounge chair. As for the 6+ year old rocker, this summer we loaded it into the back of our Audi, drove into Michigan to the house of a young nephew who just had his first child, a very large baby boy named H. He and his wife needed a rocker and they just loved this chair. We later heard they were inviting family members over to see the rocker, let alone the new baby!

Thank you for the kind words!

This may sound silly, but your furniture helps me relax (not something I am very proficient at!).

I dislike clutter and the beautiful lines of your pieces are just aesthetically perfect for me. The dining chairs are the most comfortable computer chairs I've ever owned (I can sit comfortably for hours in these chairs!).

I find the footstools for my rockers to be great seating -- and my cats love the curve of those and appropriate them when I rock. I never get to put my feet up -- those now belong to the purr-babies :)

I thought long and hard about investing in the small table and stools for my lanai -- but your furniture is worth every penny.

I really love having useful art :)

We continue to enjoy the custom walnut dining table and chairs your firm created and delivered two years ago. Over last week's Thanksgiving holiday weekend the table extended from square to long to medium and back to its usual square configuration. The most significant compliment to the set, even more important than its beautiful wood, is that friends and family lingered at the table talking after meals instead of heading immediately to the sofas and recliners. Truly comfortable chairs!

Just writing to say thank you for the stunningly gorgeous table and chairs! They are absolutely perfect.

It was worth the wait living on Ikea furniture and hand-me-downs for many years until we could finally acquire our first real "adult" dining room furniture.

I had a friend come over to receive the delivery with me, and she could not get over the incredible lumbar support in the chairs. (I was of course already accustomed to it from my parents' furniture!)

Thank you for your wonderful craftsmanship and your attentiveness throughout the process! We will of course highly recommend your work to anyone we know who wants the highest quality wood furniture!

Dear Gary, Austin, and Autumn,

The three pieces arrived today, carefully carried into the space by Plycon’s delivery folk. No damage of any sort, just a little tape residue here and there which comes off with a microfiber cloth.

And the pieces are beautiful. The photos on the web site made me confident, as did the explanations of how the designs came to be and were executed, but pictures just can’t capture what you have made for us. We’re particularly struck by the quiet elegance, the subtle detail, the way that all the furniture somehow combines a sort of humility and practicality with sheer beauty. And of course the craftsmanship is superb.

We’ve looked at lots of rockers over the years (Portland is that kind of town), but never found anything that seemed right, shaped to the body, friendly to the eye, confident in its own place in the world but not trying to make a statement. And the desk and accompanying chair are worthy kin.

We feel very lucky to have found your work, and are grateful to all who have put their hands to this project.

I just wanted to let you know how much we love our new table. It's gorgeous! The craftsmanship of you and your crew is really evident in its design, construction, and finish. I always admire and even envy really good craftsmen. With one leaf in the table its size is perfect for the two of use, and, with three leafs in, the rounded corner design makes is so we can easily seat ten. I am amazed how stable and sturdy the central pedestal design is even when expanded to its maximum. I could go on, but suffice it to say E and I think the table is beautiful. We really appreciate your great work.
