Earlier this week we received our walnut rocker and love it. We wanted to buy one to check the fit before buying a second. It's super comfortable for both of us so we're ready for a second one and a side table to go between the two.

I’m so glad you got the check! And yes, I received the stool yesterday. It’s absolutely beautiful paired with the rocker, of course—I’ve attached a picture. I also included a photo that hangs on the wall behind it—it’s of the rocker with me and my daughter, for whose birth the rocker was a gift back in 2003. She’s in college now!

My rocker stool and side table just got unpacked. Of course the packing was bombproof. But easy to take off.

Another thought on the furniture.

Some furniture is pretty…… but not comfortable. Others ugly, but comfy.

After spending much time looking at, touching and rocking I am reminded of a quote by a very well thought of marine architect, Chuck Paine, when describing Nathaniel Herreshoff’s daysailer design the 12 1/2. He said “ It is the perfect small boat, and cannot be improved in any way.” The rocker, table, and stool cannot be improved.

Another little term I learned in Maine when one refers to something that is “ just right” is “Yare”. Your work is just that.

I just wanted to send an enormous thank you for the beautiful rocking chair and stool I received in December. This chair has been the go-to for everyone who rocks our new baby girl and it’s my absolute favorite space to nurse. I’m sitting in it now and don’t want to get up :). Both the chair and the foot stool are gorgeous, extremely comfortable and I feel the love and care oozing out of every thoughtful curve. What an excellent thing to create and share with the world, thank you so much.

It was very difficult to stop rocking and send this email. My rocker and side table induce comfort and calm. It may be a while before I'm willing to share. The walnut is gorgeous! I may just sit across the room to admire my new furniture. I could never find anything of this beauty and quality in a store.

Yes, the rockers and footstool arrived in excellent condition last week. We appreciated the packaging design and how well protected they were during shipment.

And, I must say, the design, craftsmanship, and comfort of the rockers is unparalleled. I keep looking at the joinery, the curves, the grain — and I continue to find things that amaze me (especially as a woodworking enthusiast). I continue to run my hands along the edges, and find these complex curves and shapes that are so pleasing to the hand, and the eye. And, to top it off, it’s a real test to see two rockers side by side, and admire the repeatability of your work. We absolutely love them.

In addition, your customer experience has been excellent. From ordering, to payment, to delivery, to followup, and all of the communication along the way. That stuff is not easy to do well, and it is obvious that you put a priority on getting these right. Thank you.

Hi Gary and Autumn – the rocker, footstool and table arrived on Friday, March 5^th.

I must say, the packing in the those containers was so secure. Everything arrived with our a scratch and shipping boxes showed no sign of being dropped or crushed.

The footstool arrived this afternoon! T. was stunned, and so very happy to have it! He put it into immediate use as he was already sitting in the rocker. So comfortable!!
