Dear Gary,

I just received my rocker. The shipper was courteous and the crate arrived in perfect condition. I am sitting in my chair writing this email. While a picture is worth a thousand words, neither is adequate to describe the comfort I am experiencing. The arm rests are the perfect placement, my feet rest comfortably on the floor and the finish is soft, smooth and beautiful. I can only imagine one thing that would make this better . . . having one of my granddaughters here with me to share it!

Gary — we took delivery of the chair and stool on Friday – no problem, everything arrived in fine shape. The rocking chair is beautiful!! We are so pleased with it – its very comfortable, and the workmanship is wonderful. The chair was a gift for the mom-to-be in our family, and she loves it – I told her she could give it to her daughter when the daughter has her own baby.

We would like to tell you that words cannot express how happy we are with the Walnut Rocker you made for us. It is absolutely gorgeous! It arrived exactly on time in perfect condition as you promised. It's amazing how it "fits" both myself and my wife. Know that we have a 12 inch difference in our heights and the rocker is so comfortable for both of us. You certainly have a gift in your woodworking skills, talent, and artistry. My wife rocks in it everyday and it brings her such peace and joy while she meditates there. We've used it to rock our grandson and looking forward to rocking the two new grandbabies coming this summer and fall. We just can't say enough nor thank you enough for this incredible rocking chair!

Hello Austin,

The cherry rocker arrived yesterday in good shape. I had delayed delivery for several days due to a family emergency. The craftsmanship is superb and it is a very handsome item. However, I realize that if I had been able to see it and sit in it before purchasing it, I would not have bought it. The chair feels too large for our space and more hefty than the furniture around it. I find the angle of the back when I am sitting in it places me further back than is comfortable; I am used to a rocker that keeps me a bit more upright, which I prefer.

I will be away for a few days, then will decide for sure if I want to return it or not. Sorry to report this. Thanks for your excellent service.

Subsequently: Austin, My concerns with the cherry rocker's fit for me and its setting in our home remain, and I would like to return it. I'm disappointed and find no fault with your product. As I wrote last week, had I been able to see it and sit in it before purchase, I would have realized its size and sitting position were not quite what I was looking for. I guess for both of us, that's the risk of shopping without being able to "try it on". I'm grateful for your guarantee. I have the box it came in. Please email or call with directions for packing and return shipping.

The rocker and table arrived and are truly wonderful. They felt silky coming out of the box. You think you know what it will feel like to sit in the chair but we found it even more comfortable than expected. The rocker proportions command attention as a sort of sculpture but function is the first purpose. The table works as a beautiful little brother.

Am finally in NY. Whew, been away too long. The Rocking chair is truly beautiful with fit, function, and finish. Stool is also very nice. I like the table but was wondering if the design of the top is intended to have one end rounded and the other end squared?

We did receive the table and chairs in very good condition. The movers were so careful and mindful of both the delivered items and the walls. They were also very engaging and polite. I got the rocker yesterday and am thoroughly pleased with its workmanship, design and comfort. The cherry wood is lovely, and the rocker moves with minimum effort and great bum and back support. It's also pleasing to the eye- — form follows function in a striking piece of furniture. Thanks for a product that actually is what is claimed.

I'm not so happy with the extra charges newly applied to import duties here, but that's not your issue. Australia is a wealthy country and we are so partly because most of us are paid a very decent wage. It's reasonable to pay fairly for custom processing, but being human means I get to complain!

It arrived right on time and looks beautiful, still a little finish smell but that will fade I know. Attached are photos. We are very happy with all the pieces, they are great in our room and we are so glad we worked with local artisans. Although we don't really need them, we are thinking about getting the two more chairs just because it would complete the look. We will let you know.

Dear Gary,

In October my husband and I went to M. M. in upstate NY for a long weekend. On every porch and in front of every fireplace in this huge resort hotel is a rocking chair. I became enamored by the rocking chairs and how relaxed I felt every time I sat in one. When we arrived home I told my husband I was going to find the perfect rocking chair so I could learn to relax at home.

Well he decided that somewhere on this planet there was a perfect rocking chair for his wife. He is a computer Geek so he knows his way around the computer and quickly found your website and began showing me your chairs. They actually took my breath away as he showed me the catalog of gorgeous chairs.

In November my walnut chair arrived. Oh my goodness, I have never seen a rocking chair like yours. I sat in it and I was transported to a calm and peaceful place. This rocking chair is everything I had hoped it would be.

When my husband ordered it for me he stated, "You will rock our first grandchild in this chair and you will have it long after I am gone and then you will pass it on to our son who will pass it on to one of his children." The quality of your rocking chair is outstanding which guarantees it will last from generation to generation in our family.

I feel blessed to have one of your rocking chairs to treasure and then pass on to my son who will pass it on . . .

My rocking chair was delivered today and it is everything you said it would be. It is a beautiful and well made piece of furniture. It fits better everytime I sit in it. I was also surprised to learn you put some felt on the bottom of the rockers so I would not mar my wood floors — very nice touch.
