Yes, Gary! We received it and opened it this morning. It. Is. Beautiful! I had to sit in it just to see what all the fuss was about and he’s right, most comfortable chair ever. Everything about it is done right…down to the felt on the bottom so it isn’t scratching up a wood floor.

So yes, all is very very well and rocking. With one exception, I don’t have one of my own. Yet. 😊

We received our new rocker and footstool on Saturday. We could not be more pleased with it! It arrived in perfect condition, and if anything, was even nicer than we could have expected! It is simply gorgeous, and amazingly comfortable. We've only been able to show it off to our daughter so far, but she said the same thing we did when we saw it. WOW!

We are thrilled with the rocker and footstool, and very happy that we still have a full set of dining chairs to look forward to receiving. And my wife is very pleased with me for finding you and your company, and for convincing her that this was a wonderful idea.

Thank all of you for your work, craftsmanship and dedication. It shows in your product, and is something you can all be proud of, as we will be proud to show our rocker off to everyone!

Hi Gary,

I did receive the rocking chair, just when you said it would come. And the delivery person was very pleasant and helpful. I rock in it almost every evening. It is my "let it be" chair.

It seems each time I sit in it I find something else to like about it. Just the other night I discovered if I turn a little and hang one leg over the arm I can use the edge of the back support slats and the rocking motion to massage my back. Aaah. I don't have any problems with my tailbone resting on the seat, which is a nice surprise. I especially like that the slats in the back leave a spot for my spine right in the middle, that there's room for me to tuck my feet underneath, and that it rocks pretty far without ever feeling unstable. And it's absolutely beautiful.

I almost hate to give any non-positive feedback, because it might make you think I enjoy my chair less or expect you to do anything about this stuff. But you seem like you might appreciate it... So this is just for your information; no need to respond.

- The bottom of the shipping box was very dirty - that black greasy dirt that sticks to things. If I had carpet instead of hardwood floors I would probably have had to clean the carpet afterwards.

- I find that resting my arms on the arm rests isn't all that comfortable. I'm not sure why. They feel a little too high and far away from my body. I am about average height for a woman (5'-7") but I think I have long arms for my height. And I'm on the slender side. In fact it's more comfortable for me to tuck my elbows through the back of the chair and put my hands on the seat next to my behind.

Last night my good friend M. came over and spent some time in the rocking chair. She's had a difficult few weeks and she really seemed to find the rocking chair soothing. She also thought it was beautiful.

I received my cherry rocking chair in perfect condition on July 24. It’s safely situated in my home and I absolutely love the chair. You have created a truly beautiful chair, elegant in its simplicity and quite graceful in appearance. I am delighted to have this hand-crafted rocker in my home. I have been meaning to write to you since the chair arrived on Tuesday. My daughter-in-law texted me that it had arrived, and according to her text, she said "It's stunning! We love it and can't wait to use it!". My son also called and said "It's gorgeous! We love it soo much! I can't wait to test drive it with the little one when she arrives! Now all we need is the baby! And we love the "M" as well. It's a nice touch." Then he sent me a picture of it and it really is gorgeous. Thank you for all you did to make such a wonderful keepsake for my son and daughter-in-law. I still use the rocker my mother gave me when he was born 30 years ago, and it was factory-made and wasn't even as nice as the one you made! I know it will be a treasured heirloom for them. I actually ordered this within a week of discovering I had an uncommon blood cancer, and was dealing with painful compression fractures in my spine. As a physician I knew I could expect some time following treatments when I would be especially uncomfortable. Rocking chairs have always been soothing and comforting for me, so I sought the best one I could find.

Gary, we are very pleased with the new chair and footstool...My artistic wife said, “tell him the chair is beautiful..., a work of sculpture in wood”. And we are using the footstool with a $3000 Eames lounge chair. As for the 6+ year old rocker, this summer we loaded it into the back of our Audi, drove into Michigan to the house of a young nephew who just had his first child, a very large baby boy named H. He and his wife needed a rocker and they just loved this chair. We later heard they were inviting family members over to see the rocker, let alone the new baby!

Thank you for the kind words!

This may sound silly, but your furniture helps me relax (not something I am very proficient at!).

I dislike clutter and the beautiful lines of your pieces are just aesthetically perfect for me. The dining chairs are the most comfortable computer chairs I've ever owned (I can sit comfortably for hours in these chairs!).

I find the footstools for my rockers to be great seating -- and my cats love the curve of those and appropriate them when I rock. I never get to put my feet up -- those now belong to the purr-babies :)

I thought long and hard about investing in the small table and stools for my lanai -- but your furniture is worth every penny.

I really love having useful art :)

Yes, the Weeks Rocker and footstool arrived in good order. The cartage company altered delivery schedule to accommodate my wife being out of the house.
