I received my cherry rocker today and, like the previous one I ordered several years ago, it is exquisite! It truly is perfect in every detail.
Your chairs are one of the few things in life that are crafted to be handed down to generations, as this one will. I have gifted my older chair to my best friend and life partner who, I'm sure, will pass it down to her beautiful family.

I have a very small condominium and when guests visit, they invariably gravitate to your chair. Everyone remarks how beautiful it is and simply can't believe a wooden rocker can be so comfortable. Honestly, your chair should be displayed in the Smithsonian!!

I'm so glad I decided to have you dowel and spline the chair in maple. A small thing to some, perhaps, but it seems to add an even greater artisan touch to your rocker. As the cherry darkens with age, those details will become even more beautiful.

Thank you again for crafting a piece of artisan furniture that comforts the body and speaks to the soul. Those who own one of your rockers will resonate with that statement.

The shipment arrived yesterday as expected along with your note. I'm sure the chair will be a big hit ! Bill W. and I couldn't wait until the event. We had to open the carton yesterday behind closed doors and take a look (and sit) and then repack it carefully to go to the convention center.

I think David will be blown away with the quality and the personalization plaque. The box is creating a lot of curiosity around here . . . should be fun tomorrow night.

The chair made it to our home in perfect condition. It is a joy just to see and touch the work of art! (my husband is in awe of the finish . . . he wonders what oil you used).

I am a little bony so I do feel more comfortable with a quilt folded over the back and seat. I think the rocking is perfect on the hard floor, but more difficult on the carpet.

Both of my sons-in-law loved the chair. One is now looking for a used one on line. He wondered if ever one is returned, do you sell them?

Anyway, I am enjoying sitting and rocking when I get the chance.

The Rocker arrived this morning, and it is stunning. Better than I could have ever dreamed. The floors in the room are cherry, with some lighter and darker parts, and the rocker simply looks like it was made to sit right where it does.

I hope you're well. When my wife became pregnant we began shopping for a nursing chair, hoping that the one we chose would last longer than my wife's nursing. My wife found your company, and your passion for your work was immediately obvious. We ordered a Weeks rocker and it has proved to be a gem in our home.

It served us well while my daughter was a baby, she is now almost three years old. I admire that every detail, EVERY DETAIL, is deliberately thought out and expertly executed. This rocker sacrifices neither form nor function and I am still amazed every time I sit in it; three years after we received it. The rocking chair arrived quickly and in perfect condition. I must say that I was, and continue to to be, amazed at the quality and comfort of the rocking chair. The rocking chair is second to none and absolutely a work of art. You and your staff are the best. There was even a hand written note from Becca wishing my wife and future baby to enjoy it and hoping that it remained a surprise for my wife, which it did. My wife honestly did not know what to say when I revealed it to her . . . she looked like a child on Christmas morning just in awe. Hi Gary, Becca, and everybody.

Yes, the rockers were delivered last Tues, right on schedule. I was only able to crack the top of one crate briefly before I had to whisk them off to a friend's to preserve my surprise. So I can't say I've thoroughly inspected them but I did get to see the engraving and inlay on the one, and it looked great!

I'll have more feedback for you after our July 11 event, but I'm sure it will be highly positive. Thank you for a great experience so far!

After my wife's mesquite rocker did an unscheduled tour of the California desert, it finally arrived in La Jolla. It is well worth the price and wait! What a spectacular piece of craftsmanship and art. Until the baby arrives, I plan on monopolizing it. It is incredibly comfortable.

Hi Gary,

The rocker did arrive on April 2 as planned. I used part of the weekend to give it a good test and, unfortunately, it is not a good fit for me. I find that, if I sit back in the chair as intended, I get a pressure point at the tailbone after 10 minutes or so. I can relieve that by slipping down in the seat a bit, but then the arms feel too high and my shoulders are scrunched. Alas, I am just too tall for the chair.

I will say that a friend was visiting and tried the chair. He thought it was incredibly comfortable, so I'm sure the majority of customers are thrilled with their chairs. But like many other things in this world, I don't quite fit.

I will repack the chair in it's original materials. Please contact me with instructions for setting up a return.
