Hi Gary,

My wife was quite surprised when she received the rocker and as you would probably expect, my wife loves it. The shape is perfect along with the woodwork. She was also amazed that while it fits her at 5’3” is also fits me at 6’1”. I’m not sure how you accomplished that because we’ve never found a rocker that both of us like. At present, she plans to share it with me. We’ll see how that works out!

From my perspective, I was amazed at the care you took in sending the rocker. It could have been picked up at your factory from the looks of the packaging right off the truck. Upon opening the box, I was exceptionally pleased with the care you took in making sure the rocker would have not even a scratch upon arrival. Your rocker is the best packaged item I’ve ever bought.

Thanks for all your help to make our 50th anniversary a special day for both of us.

...The chair arrived in great shape and has been in near continual use since - a superb piece of furniture!

...One thing I failed to mention is the comfort of the back structure. The height, width and curvature are just right for me and also seems to fit neighbors of a wide range of sizes who have tried the chair - don't change a thing for future versions.

It’s so comfortable and he loves the maple wood/ finish. The wood is so smooth! You can just look at the chair and tell it’s a work of art! Gary: Very nice to hear from you. You make an incredible rocking chair! It supports so well that when I sit in it, I immediately feel the tension in my neck, shoulders, spine and lower back relax. Same with my wrists and forearms from the arm rests. I always want to lean my head back, close my eyes and doze a bit.

Thank you for your kind words, but don’t worry, the damage to the first rocker did not cause apprehension. I felt bad for your company, because you had made such a beautiful piece. It needed to be restored to its full luster – and only by your crew. Just seeing it, however, increased my anticipation of enjoying the rocker, so I didn’t mind returning it and waiting a little longer. Austin was so responsive in his willingness to quickly ship the second rocker. It arrived the day before Thanksgiving and all my family members savored it, with corresponding oohs and aahs.

It has been a real pleasure working with your company. You exemplify the perfect combination: A truly superior, hand-crafted product, and very friendly, responsive – even accommodating -- customer service. Thank you Gary, Austin, and everyone involved, the chair is utterly beautiful! The wood grain is gorgeous and well matched, and the craftsmanship impeccable. It arrived safe and sound and the big box is being used as a playhouse for our three year old daughter. (She's even got windows, a door, and a chimney on top). Recycling day is on Monday, but something tells me I won't be allowed to let it go....

The chair itself is the most comfortable piece of furniture I've ever sat in. The support is in all the right places. This may be my first Weeks purchase but it won't be the last!

Gary, ... your timing could not have been more spot on! It arrived the day our daughter was born, and was waiting for us when we came home from the hospital.

The chair is not only beautiful, but comfortable as well. My wife was pleasantly surprised that it fits her just right. Thanks for checking in. The chair has been a huge hit, and in fact I just saw my sister last week for the first time since the pandemic started. I have not had a chance to use it myself, but am hoping to do so when I take a trip out to see her in September.

My parents got to use it when they visited my sister recently and I was informed that my father promptly fell asleep in it.

I am feeling proud of myself as a grandmother for purchasing a Weeks Rocker for my daughter L. and her husband A. to celebrate the birth of their first child. What a perfect idea for us to give them that rocking chair, and what a spectacular job you and your team did creating it! It's truly amazing--a beautiful, functional centerpiece in their home. Whenever I head over to their house to wallow in my grandma role, I spend nearly the entire visit sitting in that lovely, comfortable rocker. And I hear that when I'm not there hogging it, it is enjoyed by L. and A. and Baby H. almost continuously.

A couple of weeks after H. was born, her other grandparents (A.'s parents) came out from South Dakota to visit and meet her. L. said the VERY first words uttered upon their arrival, walking into the house, were by A.'s dad (an artist), who gasped and exclaimed, "Oh my gosh, WHERE did you get that CHAIR? I have never seen anything so well made. It's truly a work of art.” ... and for the duration of their 4-day visit they were rocking H. in it, taking turns.

Yes, the rockers and footstool arrived in excellent condition last week. We appreciated the packaging design and how well protected they were during shipment.

And, I must say, the design, craftsmanship, and comfort of the rockers is unparalleled. I keep looking at the joinery, the curves, the grain — and I continue to find things that amaze me (especially as a woodworking enthusiast). I continue to run my hands along the edges, and find these complex curves and shapes that are so pleasing to the hand, and the eye. And, to top it off, it’s a real test to see two rockers side by side, and admire the repeatability of your work. We absolutely love them.

In addition, your customer experience has been excellent. From ordering, to payment, to delivery, to followup, and all of the communication along the way. That stuff is not easy to do well, and it is obvious that you put a priority on getting these right. Thank you.

I do have to tell you a story about our dining room chairs. We have them in the dining room and are using them every day. A friend of ours came over to use our wifi since her house was seriously damaged during the big freeze in February... So, she came in and sat at the dining table on the chairs. After about 2-3 hours she told me that she was really worried when she came in and saw where we had set her up in the house. She thought she wouldn't be able to sit in the chairs for any length of time. However, she said she actually felt comfortable and sat there for another 2-3 hours. Your designs strike again!
