Regarding the bar stools, we measured, and a height of 29" would be optimal if you can make that adjustment to our order.
It was great to visit your studio and shop — a real treat! M. and I very much appreciated Austin's assistance (and patience) as we foundered about and eventually selected the stools.

Hello Gary,

We are at home with our wonderful pecan rocker, and we are so very pleased. Now, we must have the small pecan table to have next to our beautiful chair. We would like the 15 x 20 x 24 side table. We are very patient, so when you decide to make tables, we would most appreciate you making us one.

We stopped by the blue barn and so enjoyed seeing your work and visiting with all the lovely people there. They can't say enough wonderful things about you, and I can certainly see why. Your work is superb. What a lovely place to spend the evening.

First — the barstools are amazing. The grain and curl are fantastic, the finish smooth as glass and the workmanship, as always, first-rate. Great work — many thanks. I think those stools represent the 11th and 12th pieces we have of yours, including the Œerrant" chair . . .

. . . I'm fascinated by all the work that goes on in your shop and all of the environmental and safety improvements you are constantly making. You run a pretty cutting-edge operation while managing to produce beautiful art and keep meals on a lot of family tables. That¹s pretty cool.

I just broke down the box for recycling and am amazed at the construction! No wonder you have few problems with shipping!!! The storm was not as bad as predicted )(thank you God) and everything went well. It's so much work to shutter up and prepare inside and out but I went through Andrew and know what can happen.

Gary,

Yes, we received the box decorated by a grand daughter (I presume) containing a remarkable creation . . .

We had you ship the cherry rocker to us in KS, as we plan to carry it with us as we travel next week to NY for a family gathering with J and S (the recipient). This will afford us the luxury of watching their response to its arrival in their lives in person.

And, that will be a delight!! The decorated box will be opened to a marvelous creation. Well conceived, the execution was flawless with a reverence for the material. The idea of the many days of sun and rain and snow in the growing of a tree(s) to produce the wood that your capable hands crafted into an instrument (a thing of beauty in itself) that S. will slowly introduce another being into the rhythms of existence in . . . let the music ebb and flow . . .

So, though I took a week to acknowledge my reaction to your work in hopes of getting the words right, it boils down to a simple Thank You. My admiration and respect to you and your son and your crew for sharing beauty with us and those who follow us.

Received my chair yesterday in good condition, thanks to your superb box and packing. When I saw the chair without the wrapping, the first thing that came to mind is: "Boy, that certainly is a Texas size chair!" I bought the Mesquite rocker from Gary weeks about 5 yrs ago; it is a work of art and by far the most comfortable rocker I have ever had. The craftsmanship is terrific and the wood lovely, it is a well engineered product. Further, Gary and Co. stand behind their product. I recently had a break in one of the rockers and when I contacted them, they stood behind their warranty and arranged a repair. They crafted a new rocker and made sure that it was repaired correctly by a craftsman they knew and trusted in my location. That kind of integrity is hard to come by now days. Thanks Gary! The rocking chair arrived quickly and in perfect condition. I must say that I was, and continue to to be, amazed at the quality and comfort of the rocking chair. The rocking chair is second to none and absolutely a work of art. You and your staff are the best. There was even a hand written note from Becca wishing my wife and future baby to enjoy it and hoping that it remained a surprise for my wife, which it did. My wife honestly did not know what to say when I revealed it to her . . . she looked like a child on Christmas morning just in awe. She walked around it and admired it for a couple of minutes then sat in it and started rocking and said, "This is the most comfortable rocking chair I have ever sat in . . . I could fall asleep." We love it and I couldn't be happier with my purchase. My wife wants to carry it to one of her baby showers and show it off, if that tells you how much she loves it.
